REALLY REAL HOT

Monday
July 27th 2020
7:30 p.m.
Manhattan View East
Feels like 95 degrees now and I spent the day in bed. A/C is working, but I'm 'under the weather' weary.
PBS News Hour

Tuesday
July 28th
Early Morning
Temperatures reached 96 by noon and felt like 100 +
I stayed locked in with the Air conditioning working well at 77 degrees energy saver setting. Had a lovely phone conversation with my dear Massachusetts friends, did simple maintenance chores and very little else.
7:30 p.m.
Much more tolerable and with a nice breeze
 "Lift Every Voice and Sing"
Often called “The Black National Anthem”, was written as a poem by NAACP leader James Weldon Johnson (1871-1938) and then set to music by his brother John Rosamond Johnson (1873-1954) in 1899.

Aw, so sorry you're under the weather. I hope tomorrow is better for you.
I stumbled onto some beautiful garden videos, which are nice when mood or body need a boost.
I'll email you.
