Lots of joyful noise from 22nd Street at the end of our alley and from the back of our building where I can hear Sami-Rose Katz "Yaying" and a bell ringing, perhaps from Pam Makie in the back building.
Meanwhile
In front, the police are taking a break from their duties and sharing libation and laughter. One smokes a cigar.
