Ah, to be on the the Irish coast, high up and looking out across the great sea on a grey day though the mist of a certain morning...seeing history through wise old eyes and leaning gently upon my blackthorn shillelagh. Sea birds are calling, circling round the red sails of a Galway hooker near the far horizon. There's a friend out there heading home with a good catch. There will be fish to fry by sundown!

Too Lazy To Be Ambitious

Too lazy to be ambitious,I let the world take care of itself.
Ten days' worth of rice in my bag;
a bundle of twigs by the fireplace.
Why chatter about delusion and enlightenment?
Listening to the night rain on my roof,
I sit comfortably, with both legs stretched out.
Yet gifts arrive from Glennis Dolce, and Teddy is as surprised as he is grateful. Me too :-->
