Tuesday
Sunshine came and went. I did fifty or more little domestic things around the apartment, made some changes to a drawing in process, cooked and prepped meals for several days and when the rain started again around midnight, I went for a neighborhood constitutional.

Made these to send to Rose Kelleher...
...she sent me five of her beauties to mail to remind folks to vote

Last blooms on the free flowers with petal memories

Trip to Trader Joe on 31st Street, where purchased 1/2 and 1/2, beans and a potato, then used their very clean rest stop before leaving

Friday
When news of the wide world wearies
When my whirling spirit runs out of steam
I take to my bed for relief, let go of queries,
despairs and self pity, 'things aren't only just what they seem.'

"These our actors,
As I foretold you, were all spirits, and
Are melted into air, into thin air:
And like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capp'd tow'rs, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve,
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on; and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep."
