The Bee Incident
A hornet was caught in a spiders fine webbing up at the top of this column. I used a fine stick to poke the web until it dropped on to the fern at its base, where I watched it
turn and flutter and clean itself

and in a little while, it flew off.

Then I fell into a trance of Looking
That fine spiders web extended all the way to the other side of the column and down to this plant.

Daily Sweetness
The farmers daughter next door runs a day care center for little kids and every day that's fair enough, they are led on a local walk...
...and every day she uses crossing the road as a teaching moment.
