AWAY AWHILE

Light bends, and so may we

I'm boarding a train, bending

toward distant bells

Internet access free 

It's fine with me

 To separate, to disconnect

To live each moment entirely

Inhaling bee-balm nectar

Silent as old roses

Admiring the lilies

Toiling not

 

I'll be a feline dreaming

A happy hearth at rest

Meanwhile on the home front

Teddy will have the company of several friends who'll use the space while I'm away.
I think he's looking forward to the adventure.

A little bird brought news that plans are afoot for a trip to Floridaaaaaaaaaaaa-ah!

Got my sun protective gear.

My thoughts turned to flying away, away from city streets to live surf,  from the traffic roar to blue skies and shore. 

My dear friend is booking a train for my next Birthday.

I love train travel!

Meanwhile, still, Thanksgiving, Winter Solstice, Yule Tide, and the New Year line up ahead like precious beads marking the days,

Whatever happens according to the fates and forces,

it's a spirit boost to have happy plans.
