Well, what isn't under attack! With our history of slavery, the flu season the worst we've seen in decades, and the storms of Winter not over yet, we aught to be pretty hardened to these scenarios.
Culture
a powerful human tool for survival, but it is a fragile phenomenon. It is constantly changing and easily lost because it exists only in our minds.
With help for the helpless gone too, and human rights all over the globe a low priority on many lists, we might do worse than to lose a little culture and news. So far, we still have access via the internet and the pony express.
