Prologue
Neolithic artifacts show that the site of Corinth had been occupied as early as the fifth millennium BC.  According to Hellenic myth, the city was founded by Corinthos, a descendant of the god Helios (the Sun), while other myths suggest that it was founded by the goddess Ephyra, a daughter of the titan Oceanus, thus the ancient name of the city
is also Ephyra. There is evidence that the city was destroyed around 2000 BC.

Text

splits into a full-spectrum of colors-

converge to full-spectrum white light-

vibrates and is grieved-

Daughter
4.
Oceanus rolled over Corinthos and Ephyra
when earth erupted from its center-

The earth defended itself with sound
with barbed shapes all around-

Oh, poor that over-reaching soul
Icarus's pay dear for each goal-

from striking the limits of space-

Flight
8.
Lightning of sight,
you swallowed the night-
Wend
Tend
9.
Where once they roamed free
the road collapsed abruptly-
Teary
Weary
10.
All colors reside in you,
all bright wisdom too-
Wind
Thinned

Epilogue
Turning from the pathos of existence
they became Titans, Gods, Goddesses,
islands rising from the cooling mist,
and the memory of this.
