"LUCY"
 AL 288-1
Several hundred pieces of bone representing
about 40% of the skeleton of an individual
Australopithecus afarensis.
The specimen was discovered in 1974 at Hadar in the Awash Valley
of Ethiopia's Afar Depression.
Lucy is estimated to have lived 3.2 million years ago.

CAPITALS DO NOT MEAN I'M SHOUTING
THEY'RE JUST BIGGER, AND AN EASIER READ

MY HEROES IN THIS POST ARE WOMEN

MY MALE HEROES ARE MANY,
AND ALSO EMBODY
FEMININE TRAITS AND ETHICS.
THAT IS TO SAY, ALL TRAITS AND ETHICS
ARE EQUALLY AVAILABLE TO MEN AND WOMEN.

 THAT SAID.
HERE'S A BRIEF LIST FROM SITCOMS:
(my decades)
LUCILLE BALL
(teens)
CAROL BURNETT
and
MARY TYLER MOORE
(twenties)
ROSEANNE
(thirties)
MURPHY BROWN
(forties)
SAVING GRACE
(fifties)
SEX AND THE SINGLE GIRL
(sixties)
Ha!
TELEVISION WAS NOT SO MULTICULTURAL OR DIVERSE
WHILE I LIVED THROUGH MY YOUNG ADULT
TO ELDER DAYS.
I'm just looking backwards to main stream culture above,
where each heroine did supply a progressive step forward
to the mix we call culture.
I was even more fortunate than those
limited frames imply, and had plenty of other input
from the rebels in Politics, The Sciences and all the arts,
including the lesser known Esoterica.

Things got quite complex,
multidimensional,
and interesting.

Aren't we mammals just
the luckiest creatures?
The diversity of nature,
the vastness of space time,
and
the marvelous minds of all beings!
