  "The Dhamapada"
 'Slam'--'Belch'--'Screech'
Back up 'beeeeeep'
Arurgh@#@!

'Slam'--'Belch'--'Screech'
Back up 'beeeeeep'
Chug-ch-Chug-ch-Chang'

Arurgh@#@!

TRUCKS out front.
Three flights below.
Repaving the street
at eleven PM !!!
'Slam'--'Belch'--'Screech'
Back up 'beeeeeep'
'Thawack'--'Clang'
'Chug-ch-Chug-ch-Chang'
and whistles too !!!

TRUCKS out front.
I feel like a lamb
in the slaughterhouse.
No, too dramatic;
 but a lamb I am,
with no herd influence !!!
'Thawack'--'Clang'
Chug-ch-Chug-ch-Chang'
and whistles too !!!

This may be another two pot day.
Maybe a four Ibuprofin day as well.
I need more files folders.
'Cora' Cane and I
will do a walking meditation today.
 "OMmmmm"

Oh how annoying that would be! It's one thing if natural sounds like birds or even barking dogs keep one awake - but trucks - argh! Perhaps you can have a nap today?

Early to bed tonight -- I've read that a small amount of sleep deprivation enhances psychic abilities -- that's always my one consolation. It's also an excuse to have more coffee. I'm catching up here, I loved that one minute video with the chant playing in the background and your trance-inducing voice. xx

Does this mean that you could sleep relatively undisturbed in the daytime? When I moved to the city from Northern Westchester I never got used to the constant noise, got my best, only sleep in unused classrooms at SVA
