CAROLS, CHOCOLATE and CHEERFUL NOISE

With the West Village Chorale
at Judson Church
The hall was full of people waiting for groups to depart,
and returning groups found music, warmth and treats.

"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"
(2012)
Pianist, Carolyn Schwartz, played enthusiastically for hours,
and knew every holiday song ever written I think!
People gathered around throughout the evening

18 + groups went out into the cold over the several hour period, taking various routes to cover the entire West Village, and sometimes we met each other and spontaneously coordinated while walking on opposite sides of the street creating a stereo effect.  My group was fortunate in having our own Rudolph the red nose Reindeer.
Cheerful Chocolate and Tea Server,
Katie FitzGerald
Back to the piano for more joyous sing along.
She even knew Jingle Bell Rock !!!
(I was 14 when it dominated the air waves)
My friend Michael Joseph Belser with his friend,
Maureen McCarthy, Choir President
Deck the halls with boughs of holly, Fa la la la la la la la!
'Tis the season to be jolly, Fa la la la la la la la!
Don we now our gay apparel, Fa la la la la la la la!
Troll the ancient Yuletide carol, Fa la la la la la la la!

See the blazing yule before us, Fa la la la la la la la!
Strike the harp and join the chorus, Fa la la la la la la la!

Follow me in merry measure, Fa la la la la la la la!
While I tell of Yuletide treasure, Fa la la la la la la la!

Fast away the old year passes, Fa la la la la la la la!
Hail the new, ye lads and lasses, Fa la la la la la la la!
Sing we joyous all together! Fa la la la la la la la!
Heedless of the wind and weather, Fa la la la la la la la!
