My camera battery died!
Barely got this last shot. Then it was closing time and the crowds spilled back out into the ninety degree heat. Being a woman of a certain age, Free-Friday two hours at the Morgan and travel time was somewhat wearying if pleasurable, so, at home, feet elevated, energy efficient A/C doing well set at 79 degrees, I half watched "Barbarella" on broadcast television, flashing back to the seventies when I first saw the film. How young Jane Fonda was, and me too, young and just at the lip of the feminist revolution, consciousness raising and all that...Fonda was married to Roger Vadim and totally in his thrall....she had a tendency to admire powerful men...at the same time, she too was undergoing a feminist conversion because a wealth of intelligent discourse was so suddenly available....Now she's gone all holy and Christian and I'm a nature worshiping Buddhist.  Go figure.
But, wasn't she stunning!
