IMPULSE

SATURDAY
June 6th 2020
Looking Eastward
13th PRECINCT
my front yard
Looking West

DEA,FBI and CIA are on the block
~*~

Impulsively, I boarded a cross-town bus
The Hudson River on my mind

.
 .

 .
Deep
.
~*~

Native roses
deliciously odiferous
Huge rose hips
Lovely blossoms
~*~

Encounter
Beautiful young man named Luis
we had a brief friendly conversation.
(the way light falls)
~*~

Vista
.
A young man in contemplation
his dog faces away,
toward home perhaps and supper
Sinking fast now

Can't wait
There's a curfew in effect still
Farewell
8 p.m
Waiting for the bus to take me home

The Curfew has been Lifted
