They indicate, state and advocate. Rhetorical and historical, they date
where and when I've been, suggest who was there, what seemed fair.
An old woman, took her chronic conditions, her hopes and ambitions
trailing in the rolling wake, to bed while many millions marched again.

Keep Calm, the revolution continues. This road is longer than one life.
It predates the personal and exhibits every political opinion over time.
Time marks millenniums, makes the past present, though it's gone on.

"A woman's place is in the world"--"Peace is patriotic"--"Bread not bombs"--"Question authority"--"Housing is a human right"--"Be a people person, feed the homeless"--"I'm an advocate for women"--"Nobel Laureate for peace"--"If we can risk nuclear arms, we can risk disarmament"--"Women's march for equality"--"If the people lead, the leaders will follow"--"Let me control a planet's oxygen supply and I don't care who makes the laws"--"If you think the system is working, ask someone who isn't"--"Stop rent hikes"
