HER WEBSITE

A VISIT TO NPR's RADIO LAB
Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich, host of WNYC's 'Radiolab',
join avant-cellist Zoë Keating
for a three part elucidation of the creative process
1. Fireflies Moment
2. Sonic Landscape on the Cello
"The Sun Will Set"

 3. A music psychologist riffs on "loops". or
"how a word- phrase can become a song-sound".
The Cello then plays a piece to illustrate a similar point.
Then some interesting questions from the audience,
and one more cello composition to end
"Optimist".

1 Hour and 20 Minutes

Michelle...i can not tell you
how MUCH this means to me...i'd
heard her before but lost the
info...
different parts of my life have had
"a soundtrack"...certain music i
will play over and over, and only
that music,
thank you so much for the soundtrack to these days now....

Hey Jude
loops are looping aren't they....over and over.....one stitch at a time...and the days looping along from dawn to dusk....a sort of comfort....a familiar. Hmmmmmmm, Ha!

Dear Grace
So glad this musician made you glad. I am constantly losing and finding what was lost. The magic of re-emergence like a loop in my life..."Oh, there it is again" moments that renew the memory of what one already knew!

Hey Grace, it's 10:56 PM here...what time is it there?.......wish I had been with you and the dogs dancing too. It's so nice to know that something you post makes someone happy, but I think you know that.

yes, i do know that.
and yes. yes, it DID.

it's 2 hours difference. i am
usually asleep but because of the
dancing, i'm wide awake.

You mean it's 2 when it's 1AM here or it's 11PM when it's 1AM here? Direction matters. Meanwhile, I, and other nighthawks ate still trolling the web, bleary eyed and wanting country roads and quiet nights of silent stars, or the sound of wind through the forest.
