i don't send as much snail mail as i used to but still do it on occasion. so nice to receive tidbits of things in the mail especially when it's a surprise. i prepare little envelopes of things to give to my little six year old neighbor skye. just watered her cucumber plant that she planted from seed while she's on a trip to Georgia with her grandpa.
good luck with the lottery. i stopped buying tickets after i retired.

Every blue moon or so I take this same ticket with it's'special numbers' to my local new stand and drop a dollar.

i bought lottery tickets for years when i was working and always used the same sequence of numbers. by the time i retired, i had saved enough money to live simply and stopped buying tickets. i never really desired being rich. i don't think i'd live any differently if i had lots of money. i'd just give more to charity.

I've been living close to, or under the poverty line my whole life, so I've got no illusions about living extravagantly...but it would be nice to be able to share, and, come to think of it, to cover medical costs when medicare won't pay (I need new glasses for example)........I just took a dollar ticket. I only do it like I save seeds, in order to share with friends. So let's agree that's the end of the lottery lines...it's a seed and if it grows, I'll let you know.
