World Muse Wednesday NO TIME FOR VERBAL SWORDPLAY

World Muse
What is it about February that draws me into
thoughts of my mortality? I feel I'm not alone.
Here, In stillest night or this sweet dawn,
pigeons on the window sill becoming known,
traffic flowing like the sea, a very early memory-
of pinafores and nursery rhymes.
Now this discerning poem.

i'm aiming for 120 healthy years so my mortality is not in my thoughts...although one never knows.

Ah-you will certainly need all that time to complete your many, many projects-but the point of the poem, so astutely articulated in the brilliant and short film clip, is that the life/death 'portal' is but a pause. So, no matter how many years in my opinion.
