World Muse Wednesday THE RAINBOW OF EXISTENCE

World Muse
Begin With Breakfast
One lovely hot-from-the-oven pot pie, devoured happily while listening to this broadcast, thinking about the natural world:

There's a brilliant and concise illumination of a simple fact herein that I would never have understood completely had I not tuned in to this mind blowing short radio episode over at this link while I ate:

The oceans are breathing.

1.  This morning, Nancy laid out a delightful platter of possibilities on her Trail here:
Thanks to her reminders I've revived my long standing love of dolphins and for dear departed
"On a point of land, I found the star thrower...I spoke once briefly. "I understand," I said. "Call me another thrower." Only then I allowed myself to think, He is not alone any longer. After us, there will be others...We were part of the rainbow...Perhaps far outward on the rim of space a genuine star was similarly seized and flung...For a moment, we cast on an infinite beach together beside an unknown hurler of suns...We had lost our way, I thought, but we had kept, some of us, the memory of the perfect circle of compassion from life to death and back to life again - the completion of the rainbow of existence."

2. Over A week ago Mo gave us a taste of this miraculous 15 minute animation, so I went searching and found it whole on line to share:

The Fantastic Flying Books of Morris Lessmore
Now To Work

New threads, needles, Scissor,
and a foggy image rising

Out of today's sketching, let the thing evolve for that Shiny Green material that's been waiting so patiently on the embroidery hoop for me.
The Moon At 99% Full
I feel it pulling?
Do you?

Michelle- I am fascinated with...I love how we each post in our own style :) Thanks for linking me yet again...I think we have similar taste! I enjoy your posts, so well researched. I had watched the movie and it was so nice to see it again. I sent it off to friends (I may have done that last time too! haha) And I love seeing where you work, well and eat. It looks so cozy and nurturing and inspiring.
