A REPOSTING FOR REVIEW 'UNCERTAINTY AND COMPLIMENTARITY"

Why I titled the blog
Ms. Uncertainty Principles

The Uncertainty Principle
In quantum mechanics, it refers to any of a variety of mathematical inequalities asserting a fundamental limit to the precision with which certain pairs of physical properties of a particle, such as position x and momentum p, can be known simultaneously. The more precisely the position of some particle is determined, the less precisely its momentum can be known,

and vice versa.
The Complementarity Principle
Some objects have multiple properties that appear to be contradictory. Sometimes it is possible to switch back and forth between different views of an object to observe these properties, but in principle, it is impossible to view both at the same time, despite their simultaneous coexistence in reality.

Niels Bohr apparently conceived of the principle of complementarity during a skiing vacation in Norway in February and March 1927, during which he received a letter from Werner Heisenberg regarding the latter's newly-discovered, and not yet published, uncertainty principle. Upon returning from his vacation, by which time Heisenberg had already submitted his paper on the uncertainty principle for publication, he convinced Heisenberg that the uncertainty principle was a manifestation of the deeper concept of complementarity.

It was coming across these principles that led me to title the blog, affixing my initials to it.  The title used to be printed across the header, but eventually I removed it to let the picture stand alone.

I'm no Physicist, and Physics fascinates me.
This fascinates me.

Abiding love fascinates me

Serendipitous humor fascinates me
Incongruous pairings fascinate me.
Human beings fascinate me.
This door (MINE) delights me.

explanation of title welcome... I'd heard of the former, but not the latter. a litany of abiding delights is well worth reading, too... hope trip proceeds okay. hope YOU are ok in NYC!!

Fascinating. I didn't understand much of your explanation. But I did come away with the idea that things are not all as they seem.
Loved your view of these images.
Hugs,
