A gift arrived last night
from my Massachusetts 'family'
Because I can't be with them, this care package

ready to force into bloom,
and these labor-intensive cookies, that melt on the tongue and are worth their weight in gold!
Home grown and made Quince jelly too.

Two, not one of those delicious, desert breads.
I dare not open till solstice or they will be gone.
