BLANK PAGES

Living
A single page for every day
Every page a single day

Wednesday
Kindness is a gift from a friend

Thursday
Huge tragedy explodes in the East Village

Friday
East Village Update
Do not despair
Ted the bear is always there
A willing comfort pillow

Saturday
5AM
Hoping to see the eaglets near dawn

5PM
Yikes - A suspected gas leak where I live
Fifteen fireman and two trucks responded
They went up and down both our buildings
Into basements, out back and up to the roofs
The Fire department is on high alert
I waited till they had cleared their search
Then traveled on to a friend's for supper

Sunday
Sitting quietly
Doing nothing
Spring comes
Grass grows

Matsuo Bashō (1644-1694)

Michelle...heard about that fire and thought of you immediately. The inspection should be comforting. And I like the poem, have to keep that one handy as a reminder to sit quietly and do nothing. xoxo
