Time traveling between bouts of sleep
Technicolor Paris on a tiny Television
Audrey is in love at last again and again
Her 1957 sunny Funny face glows
Just as it was meant to.

(This American musical romantic comedy film directed by Stanley Donen and written by Leonard Gershe, contains assorted songs by George and Ira Gershwin. Although having the same title as the 1927 Broadway musical by the Gershwin brothers, and featuring the same male star, the plot is totally different and only four of the songs from the stage musical are included. Alongside Fred Astaire, the film stars Audrey Hepburn and Kay Thompson)

They've hung wreaths next door
Our blond-dyed landlady
Smiled at her florist man
Hand lingering long on his shoulder
Chilling domesticity right on time.
(Man with poodle crosses the street)

This old lady's been sick thirteen days
Is the magic of thirteen a turning
Ever-after or the final hereafter
The planet goes on turning
Stars lives and satellites.

Nights coming on - traffic signals
Return to the commerce which
Turns earthly clocks, laws, laughter,
Tears, years, wars and other disasters.
(Man with twins heads hurriedly home)

So good to hear you are On the road to recovery, may it continue at a much faster pace! You always manage to make daily details so interesting.
