Tuesday
Lovely Lucy observes
While my old Union friend, Margarita kindly does my taxes for me. New York State demands filing on line and Turbo Tax charges $29.99 to file it!
We walked patient Lucy
Then I waited for the cross town bus
in front of this great old dive


Wednesday
I placed an ailing friends name on the
"being watched over" altar at the Zendo
(found out Thursday her test results are 'clear')

A trip to the Department of Motor Vehicles
Because I let my non-driver I.D. expire while I was busy with more pressing issues of life in the body, I have to get a new one and that means 'start again' showing proofs of residence, and other I.D.s of their specific designation. Gathered all last night.
While waiting for the cross town bus I shot two reflections in Housing Works windows:

Note to self:
You only have so much energy to be actively congenial among many others for long periods of time. It's okay to fall short of output, to disengage while remaining present, to fall into silence.
