The Community Garden
An easy walking distance from the house.

The Bee Incident
A hornet was caught in a spiders fine webbing up at the top of this column. I used a fine stick to poke the web until it dropped on to the fern at its base, where I watched it

turn and flutter and clean itself
 .
and in a little while, it flew off.
.

Then I fell into a trance of Looking

That fine spiders web extended all the way to the other side of the column and down to this plant.

Daily Sweetness
The farmers daughter next door runs a day care center for little kids and every day that's fair enough, they are led on a local walk...
...and every day she uses crossing the road as a teaching moment.

More photographs to come. There's the Attic and the previous owners ancestor Graveyard. History sifted through, honored and preserved.
Part Three will end this series

I can see why you fell into a “trance of looking”. Such a beautiful place! The golden rod is especially nice.
